Causes and Consequences
Water damages can have a variety of causes. Let it be flooding, a burst pipe, water for firefighting or heavy rainfall. Even a washing machine or high humidity can cause a water damage. With storms becoming more and more frequent, the amount of rain and hail they entail rises the number of reported water damages. When there is water in the house or the walls are damp swift action is required. Flooding or water damage does not always need to result in a catastrophe. With the right expertise and the right handling of the water damage, it is possible to prevent a total catastrophe, which usually involves larges costs for time-consuming demolition and rebuilding work. With our knowledge we can obtain a fast drying and dehumidification of damp walls and damp basements and thus also ensure an efficient water damage restoration. In that way, a musty smell, mould and mould formation can be avoided. This is an especially beneficial advantage as moulds are often the reason for respiratory diseases.
Solutions for Water Damage Restoration
We possess the knowledge and the equipment for dehumidifying various building constructions so that every case of water damage can be dried out as quickly and efficiently as possible. If there is a water or moisture damage which is classified as an emergency, immediate measures need to be taken. The fastest way of starting with drying or dehumidification is refrigeration or adsorption drying. For emergencies in inhabited rooms, condensation drying is also a possibility to start quickly with the drying process. Condense dryers will be used for these emergency damages.
The humidification will be decreased in a fast and easy way by our dehumidifiers. It is also possible to speed the room drying and air dehumidification up by using ventilators or fans. Our building dehydrators are versatile. You can use them for drying walls, for adsorption drying and condensation drying.
Optimised drying of water damages
For drying water damage there are different techniques available. Which one to choose depends on the severity of the water damage as well as the type of material. When choosing the right drying technique, the drying time and energy consumption should be considered as well. More detailed information about the individual drying techniques can be found on the corresponding website “Optimised drying of water damages”.
The goal when we design our dehumidifiers, turbines and auxiliary equipment is to dry water damage in a home as safely and silently so that the people in the house will not need to move out during the drying process. This is something that can be invaluable since prompt action must be taken when water damage occurs.
We collaborate closely with our customers across Europe to promote the exchange of experience and knowledge so that we can constantly improve our products and methods for damage drying.
