Sustainability at Corroventa

We are conscious of our social footprint, striving to contribute positively to our community and environment through sustainable practices.

Corroventa has been part of the Volati industrial group since 2007, where sustainability is an important building block in long-term value creation. For Volati, this means identifying and taking advantage of the opportunities that well-developed sustainability work can create, in combination with managing and minimising risks linked to sustainability. We have a responsibility to set requirements, integrate and follow up on sustainability in connection with investments and as part of our operations' business plans and results.

Focus areas

Volati’s sustainability work is based on three Group-wide focus areas:

• Business ethics
• Environment & climate
• Employees

The focus areas have been revised from the materiality analysis conducted in 2020. We continuously develop our analysis and monitoring to ensure proactive sustainability work that is conducted in line with stakeholder expectations and future legal requirements.

Business ethics

Volati has zero tolerance for business ethics violations and all Volati companies must have effective procedures to ensure good compliance with the code of conduct, both internally and in the value chain.

Target: Zero business ethics incidents in the Group.

What does this mean for Corroventa? We are committed to conducting our business responsibly with the highest ethical standards. This means that we comply with laws and regulations, act transparently, professionally and responsibly towards our partners and customers. Environment & climate

Volati will reduce the Group's own emissions (Scope 1 & 2) in line with the 1,5 degree target of the Paris Agreement.

Target: A 40% reduction in emissions by 2034 compared to the base year 2021.

What does this mean for Corroventa? Our products are developed and designed with sustainability in mind, with energy-efficient technology that reduces environmental impact and a flexibility to be used in different environments and assignments for a long time

 

 

Employees

Volati will be an inclusive and safe workplace that welcomes employees with different backgrounds and experiences.

Target: By 2030 the Group's management teams will have a gender distribution in the range of 40-60% for each gender.

What else is being done in Volati?

In addition to working with the global sustainability goals, Volati has been recognized as one of Nasdaq's "ESG Transparency Partners". The recognition is given to companies that demonstrate a high level of commitment to market transparency and a high standard of environmental transparency to the public.
