Corroventa launches a powerful and energy efficient extractor for radon decontamination
R2 is Corroventa’s new radon extractor that is developed for varying ground conditions and is suitable for projects and tasks of all sizes. The R2 has been designed with powerful adjustable performance and can be optimised to each unique installation.
Energy efficient advantages
The R2 has adjustable power settings, means that it only uses as much capacity as needed for each task or project, so that electricity consumption is minimised to save both money and the environment. The revolutionary R2 radon extractor enables installations to be optimised to minimise the operating costs thanks to its powerful performance and energy efficient EC extractor and Corroventa technology.
Radon extractor for internal environments
Corroventa’s machines are traditionally clearly identifiable by their dominant red colour, however with the expansion of fixed installation equipment and the launch of the R2 Radon extractor, this range will be manufactured in grey, so that it blends into its surroundings, for example in both residential and commercial buildings. Despite not being red, the R2 Radon extractor is built, like all Corroventa machines, in Sweden, to the highest quality standards to provide a long service life and the ultimate performance!
A feature of R2 is the ”flow-mode” setting, which benefits both the installer and property owner, enabling a preset volume of processed air to be established and the Radon extractor will automatically adjust its power during pressure changes to ensures that the required performance is achieved whilst limiting power consumption.
Additional features of the R2 are the detachable external control panel which is normally connected to the unit via magnetic catches on the rear, however this can then be located on the mounting in an easy to access location, making adjustment and inspection easier and this also enable the location of the extractor flexible.
The filter is easily replaced via a separate filter hatch.
