Can you describe a regular day at work?

- The good thing about my job and the reason why I've been in it for so long is the variety. Every day holds surprises and is difficult to plan or predict. As a rule, mails are checked, answered or processed at the start of the working day. This includes orders, technical queries, general support, etc. To provide our customers and partners with the best possible support, I spend a lot of time in the field. I also hold regular basic seminars at our branch.

 

 

Do you have a special memory at Corroventa that you would like to share?

- There are many things. The market launch of the ES series was a really good time. We organised and carried out a highly successful roadshow throughout Germany for this purpose. Of course, another highlight was when we were able to open our new branch in Senden near Ulm on 20 September 2018 after long and arduous preparations. Successful deals and orders are confirmation of your work and what you do. Not forgetting my receipt of the Corroventa Award in 2016.

What is the best part about working for Corroventa?

- As already mentioned, it's the variety that makes it special. The constant change between office work, field service and technical advice and many other things makes this job very attractive and exciting. From time to time you also have to lend a hand in the workshop or warehouse. Not forgetting our great team, with whom working doesn't feel like work.

Can you tell us something that we don´t know about you?

- Yes, there are quite a few things. After completing my military service, I worked for several years as an electrician in a small workshop. In 1994, I decided to train as a master electrician. After passing the exam and travelling around the USA for a while, I worked as a sales representative in an electrical wholesaler. Looking for a new challenge, I joined Corroventa in 2003.

I enjoy spending my free time with my family, swinging the cooking spoon or standing at the barbecue. I spend a lot of time in the fresh air in the nearby Alps. However, my greatest passion is music. I have been actively playing the guitar and singing in a choir since I was very young.
