Fast and energy-efficient drying process
One of the major challenges in the construction process is moisture, which can cause delays and increased costs. This, in turn, can affect both quality and sustainability.
When the Swedish company Peab faced the challenge of carrying out a drying process quickly and energy efficiently—without compromising on sustainability or energy consumption—they chose Corroventa’s adsorption dehumidifier A15 ES. This powerful, flexible, and energy-efficient solution was combined with the air-cooled condenser C15, which effectively recirculates the heat energy from the dehumidification process back into the building.
We found that the solution contributed to a better construction workflow, fewer disruptions, and higher quality in the final result,
says the Site Manager at Peab.
Additionally, SuperVision® 2.0, Corroventa’s digital monitoring system, was used. With remote control and real-time data, the team could adjust the drying process remotely.
Previously, we had to visit each station. Now everything was handled digitally, which saved us time, energy, and allowed us to complete the drying a week ahead of schedule,
the Site Manager explains.
The key to success also lay in the close collaboration between Peab and Corroventa. Through ongoing dialogue, joint planning, and quick real-time adjustments, the drying process could be optimized based on the project’s needs.
The collaboration with Corroventa was crucial! With their support, we were able to adapt quickly and efficiently all the way through,
says the Site Manager.
What was the result?
- Shorter construction time: Efficient drying process minimized downtime.
- Compared to traditional methods, the solution provided both energy and cost savings.
- Less moisture created a healthier working environment.
- Increased quality & productivity.
